Initial Brainstorming/ Mind Mapping

Our concept for Cult Simulator is an RTS game about cults. During the first meeting of our group, we started making the basic framework of the game and tackled the game’s general setup. The game will be a 4 player game where each player competes for their cult to take over the town. We decided that when the game begins each player chooses the “agendas” of their cult which will effectively be similar to assigning their class and perks. The chosen agendas will determine which citizens of the town will want to join their cult based on personality.

We next brainstormed a list of possible actions the player can take to grow their cult. The list is in the photo above, under “Tasks.” The number of citizens who have joined a player’s cult determines which tasks the player can do. Tasks that require more members have the potential to recruit more members. In our next brainstorming session we will discuss the specific cult agenda options and the personalities of the citizens.
